About Magnolia Photography In 2001, thanks to the internet, Jed and Candace Clark, the co-founders of Magnolia Photography, found themselves traveling back and forth across the country, photographing portraits and weddings from Key West to San Diego, from Montana to Arizona, all along the eastern seaboard and throughout the midwest. Having photographed hundreds of weddings since our origination just ten years ago, we continue to find new, creative ways to express the emotion of your event while maintaining high value for you, our valued customer. We understand that not every one who looks at our work is going to be comfortable with our style. We go after the essential emotions of an event rather than technical perfection. Some of our pictures may be blurred as we capture the feeling of motion. Some photos may seem "grainy" when we capture the emotion evoked by natural light, especially when the lights are low. Always on the cutting edge of the craft, our cameras are compact and unconventional compared to other photographers' equipment, giving us high mobility during your event. But our cameras are also the best, assuring a balance of photographic excellence and emotional impact. If every picture has to be planned and orchestrated to make you comfortable, then Magnolia isn't your best choice.
